Beef Stroganoff


1 ½ lbs boneless meat

3 T. flour

1 ½ t. salt

¾ t. paprika

3 T. butter

2 T. tomato paste

½ t. Worcestershire sauce

¼ t. dry mustard

10 oz. 7-up or Sprite

1 cup thick sour cream

6 oz. noodles cooked

  • Coat meat with mixture of flour, salt and paprika.
  • Melt butter. Add meat and brown.
  • Stir mixture of tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and dry mustard into skillet. Mix in 7-up. Cover and cook until meat is tender. (approx 1 hour)
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream in small amounts.
  • Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly. 1-2 minutes do not boil.
  • Serve over cooked noodles.

Serves approx 4-6.
